Sometimes I write fanfic! About Transformers! I have a lot of old, embarassingly bad stuff, but this is the newer, less embarassingly bad stuff.

The Darkness Between the Stars

Ages ago, I wrote a series called Firestormers, featuring my OCs Trixter and Upstart and an assortment of lesser-known canon characters. So to ease myself back into fanfic writing, I'm writing them onto the Lost Light, beginning with a story about mad science gone wrong, memory and grief and hope, and the power of music. This takes place during the time skip following the Dark Cybertron crossover, though the Flashback is a standalone that's a lot less in the weeds about continuity.

• Part 1: The Depression Miniboss - A newcomer to the Lost Light seeks out Chromedome for help with the traumatic memory of her conjunx endura's recent death, but that memory holds a clue that could bring him back.
• Flashback: Broken Things - While working as a salvager on a Cybertronian refugee colony, Trixter is sent to check out a derelict Autobot ship. But what - or who - killed the crew?
• Part 2: All These Things That I've Done - As Chromedome enlists Brainstorm and Nightbeat's help in getting Upstart back, he discovers he has shared history with the lost colonist - as a victim of the New Institute.
